Miss World 2008 to come to Vietnam on Jan. 7

VietNamNet Bridge – Miss World 2008 Ksenia Sukhinova will pay a visit to Vietnam on January 7, 2009, together with Miss World 2007 Zhang Zi Lin.

A representative of the US-based RAAS Company, the organiser of this visit, said the two Miss World beauty queens will meet with correspondents on their arrival at the VIP lounge of the HCM City-based Tan Son Nhat Airport on January 7.

On their visit, scheduled from January 8-25, 2009, Ksenia Sukhinova, Zhang Zi Lin, RAAS’s General Director Hoang Kieu and sponsors of Miss World 2008 pageant will visit and present gifts to poor people in rural remote areas of the provinces of Cao Bang, Thanh Hoa, Quang Binh, Thua Thien-Hue, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Tien Giang and Kien Giang.

Vietnam is the first country that Miss World 2008 Ksenia Sukhinova will call on to do charity in her one year of duty. The beauty queen will return to Vietnam in June 2009 with some contestants of the Miss World pageant, perhaps Miss USA, Miss China, Miss South Korea and Miss France, to participate in activities to advertise Miss World 2010 in Vietnam.

Ksenia Sukhinova was crowned Miss World 2008 on December 13 in South Africa. She is 21 years old and a student at Tyumen University in Siberia
